THREE CARS GIVEN AWAY TO LUCKY WINNERS IN A FIVE-DAY SPAN
Hot Mystery Car Carousel Streak is Unprecedented at Spirit Mountain
Spirit Mountain's Mystery Car Carousel is as hot as the summertime temperatures with three lucky slot winners hitting jackpots and being awarded cars, all within a five-day span.
It began when Billy Loftin, from Lyons, OR., claimed a classic orange-colored 1975 350-horsepowered Chevy Corvette and $5,000 in cash on Saturday, July 30th. A day later, Terry Hendershott, of Portland, hit the Mystery Car Carousel odometer to win a new Toyota Prius. Then, early on the morning of August 6th, Celso Bravo-Cuevas, of Hillsboro, won a new Mini-Cooper.
Spirit Mountain's car carousel has earned a lofty reputation by averaging giving away a car every 15 days and has presented more cars to winning guests than any other casino west of the Mississipp. But awarding three cars within five days is unprecedented according to Slot Performance Manager Bill Bateman. "We've had a lot of excitement on the floor recently with the Mystery Car. It seems like as soon as we just roll a new car in, we're rolling it out again with a proud new owner. I've never seen anything like this."
A white 2005 Toyota Prius is featured on the Mystery Car Carousel now. Next in line and currently on display in front of Legends resturant is a classic fire-engine red 1951 Chevy pickup truck, in terrific condition with just 21,000 miles on it.
Spirit Mountain is also home of the world's largest nickel slot jackpot. A Portland woman hit a record $4.1 Million back in March.
